Chartered Counselling Psychologist

I am a professionally trained and qualified therapist with a private practice in Southfields in Wandsworth.  I offer confidential face to face psychological therapy and counselling to adults and adolescents.

My professional registration is with the British Psychological Society (BPS).  I hold a practising license with the BPS which is renewed annually and I abide by their code of conduct, ethical requirements and professional practice.  I work within strict guidelines and receive professional supervision, undertake regular professional development and have full cover professional indemnity insurance.

My training commenced in 1995 when I began my undergraduate degree in Psychology.  Since then I have obtained a Post Graduate Diploma and a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology.  I am currently working towards my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, which includes research into sensitivity to rejection to further develop therapeutic intervention in this area.

As well as my private practice, I have worked as a counselling psychologist in both the National Health Service (NHS) and voluntary sectors and I am experienced at working with a wide range of emotional difficulties.
